Tourist hotspots go out of their way to make sure visitors do not want for anything during their stay.  One seaside resort in Italy however has gone one step further by offering to reimburse holidaymakers if rain blights their visit.  The tourist board of the north eastern town of Jesolo near Venice has said it will refund the cost of renting a sun lounger and umbrella at the town’s two beaches.  Under the scheme known as ‘tan or your money back’ sun worshippers reserve a space online ahead of their visit and pay an extra euro on top of the standard charge as rain insurance.  If hourly rainfall exceeds 3mm between 11am and 5pm, the whole amount shelled out by the beachgoer will be paid back.  New meaning to the term hot money.
