Catnap!
True love can strike any time any place. In the case of PC Adam Westall, the place was Colchester station where he works, and the time was when Elsa the kitten was handed in after being found abandoned and starving. On seeing how underweight Elsa was, PC Westall called a vet and it was just as well he did for according to a police spokesman, the vet “insisted she needed plenty of meals and nurturing”. It was PC Westall who once again stepped up to the plate. Not only did he take Elsa home but he lovingly hand-reared her: “With regular meals during the day, and at times in the early hours of the morning,” said the police constable. It did the trick. “Elsa is healthy and bouncing around,” he added. Since then the bond between the kitten and the police officer has grown, so much so that Elsa has since been adopted by PC Westall: “She has shown us plenty of affection and has since become a part of our family.” Sounds like the police officer is well and truly smitten by the kitten.
