Shout out to the anonymous woman who secretly picked up the restaurant tab of a group of battle weary firefighters. And at $355.22 it was no small bill. In all around 25 hungry heroes turned up at Denny’s restaurant in Colton, Southern California after tackling a brush fire, which covered 70 acres, for almost 5 and half hours. And that’s not all. Keen to make sure that others who battled the blaze didn’t miss out, the woman also paid for $100 worth of desserts for crews who were expected to show up at the restaurant. To top it all off she left a $50 tip. The firefighters only learned of the random act of kindness when they went to settle up. The Colton Fire Department shared details of the woman’s good deed on Facebook and said it was “honored to serve the citizens of our communities.” Surely worthy of Three Daily Cheer cheers for the anonymous woman and of course the brave firefighters.
