Hudsons’ River
Congratulations go to three brothers who successfully swam the 90 mile long River Eden in Cumbria in just nine days. The Yorkshire born Hudsons, Jack (23), Calum (25), and Robbie (27) swam the full course of the river from its source at Mallerstang at the extreme east of Cumbria to the Solway Firth on the border between England and Scotland. To complete the challenge, the brothers ended up spending 10 hours a day in the cold water. Why? To raise funds for the Swimming Trust, an independent charity dedicated to getting more people swimming more often in safe and supportive environments. Brothers in arms.
